Welcome, everyone!
Hello, I'm Ms. J. Mesa, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself as we gear up for the exciting 2023-2024 school year at COHEA. My passion lies in teaching, and this year, I'll be guiding 7th graders through Language Arts, Reading, and Middle School Developmental Language Arts (ESOL).
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education (K-12) from Florida International University, and I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Florida State University. Moreover, I am certified to teach Exceptional Student Education (K-12) and I'm endorsed in Reading (K-12) and ESOL (K-12).
This marks my second year here at COHEA, and I couldn't be more excited about the journey ahead. As we head into this academic year, my aim is to create a positive and engaging learning environment that aligns seamlessly with COHEA's educational objectives.
