Hello! My name is Mr. Cooney and I am the instructor for Government and Economics and AP Capstone. I am very excited to get know all of you and embark on this journey of learning and personal growth together!

I currently hold a B.S. degree in Communications (Motion Picture Screenwriting) and History from the University of Miami and a mDiv in Religious Studies from Fuller Seminary. I am passionate about history, cultural studies, and using research skills to understand our world and the people in it better.

I am also the head coach for cross country and assistant coach for soccer.
