COHEA Mock Trial Team

Step Into the Courtroom

The COHEA Mock Trial Team gives students the opportunity to experience the legal world firsthand. Students develop skills in public speaking, legal reasoning, research, teamwork, critical thinking, and courtroom presentation while preparing and competing in simulated trials.

Whether you’re interested in becoming an attorney, exploring the legal field, or simply looking for a new challenge, Mock Trial is a great way to build confidence and gain hands-on experience.

The COHEA Mock Trial Team is welcoming students who are interested in becoming part of the team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Students can take on different roles within a mock trial, including attorneys and witnesses, while working together to prepare a case and compete.

What We Do

Courtroom Experience

Students prepare arguments, examine evidence, practice questioning witnesses, and present their cases in a simulated courtroom environment.

Competitions

The team participates in Mock Trial competitions and events where students put their preparation and courtroom skills to the test.

Learn Beyond the Classroom

The team has opportunities to visit and experience real legal environments, including courthouses and law-related institutions. These experiences allow students to see the legal system in action and connect classroom learning to the real world.

Team Building

Mock Trial is more than competition. Students work together, attend team activities, participate in fundraisers, and build friendships while representing COHEA.
